Das Rautenmuster gehört zu den Mosaikmustern (oder auch Hebemaschen- Mustern). Man kann die Rauten als Fläche ohne Zwischenmuster stricken, hier habe ich die Rauten in gespiegelten Bändern angeordnet! Das Mosaikmuster habe ich ergänzt durch krause Wellen, die einen hellen Kontrast zu den Rauten bilden.

Nur Anleitungen verkaufe ich nicht, da deren Entwicklung sehr aufwendig ist. Ich biete Dir 8 Material-Varianten an aus denen Du stricken kannst, die Farbe suchst Du Dir selbst aus. Die Beispielfotos der Materialien zeigen andere Muster, aber in der gleichen Technik gestrickt: so kann man die Woll-Wirkung beurteilen.

Wie kommst Du zu Deinem Paket? Schau bei Deinem gewünschten Material hier im Shop und schreibe mir per Mail, was ich einpacken soll. Je nach Material (von recycelten Jeans bis Yak, Seide und Kaschmir) wiegt und kostet das Material verschieden, je nach Nadelstärke wird der Schal auch verschieden breit. Die genauen Angaben wieviel Wolle Du brauchst, findest Du bei der Auswahl, natürlich muss ich diese Menge auch jeweils vorrätig haben. Bei diesen Schals empfehle ich einen starken Kontrast der Wollfarben. Bei Verwendung von Verlaufsgarn tritt das Muster in den Hintergrund. Das Paket bestellst Du hier und legst es in den Warenkorb.

Im Kit sind dann Deine Wolle und Anleitung (gerne per PDF). Es gibt hier auch das Kit für die passende Tasche: „Dünne Rauten“ oder „Dicke Rauten“ Tasche – je nach Wollstärke 4.5 oder 7/8.

Was braucht man zusätzlich?

Rundstricknadeln in Stärke passend zu Deinem Material: 60 cm Länge reichen, da Du den Schal von der Schmalseite strickst. Wenn Du einen Einfass um den ganzen Schal stricken möchtest, brauchst Du zusätzlich eine lange Rundnadel (100-120 cm) gleicher Nadelstärke.

Restfaden glatt (z.B. Baumwolle), event. Maschenmarkierer, 1 Häkelnadel falls Du wie ich die Maschen für den provisorischen Anschlag aufhäkeln möchtest.

Stricken in Hebemaschen-Technik macht Spaß:

ein zweifarbiges Ergebnis, beim Stricken hat man aber immer nur einen Arbeitsfaden in der Hand. In den dunklen Doppel-Reihen/ -Runden erscheinen die hellen Maschen durch Abheben der Maschen der vorigen Doppelreihe und umgekehrt in den hellen Reihen/ Runden die dunklen Maschen. Zwischen dem Abheben gibt es nur rechte und linke Maschen. Durch Ihre Anordnung gibt es ein Spiel von Hell und Dunkel.

The diamond pattern is one of the mosaic patterns (or lifting stitch patterns). You can knit the diamonds as a surface without an intermediate pattern, here I have arranged the diamonds in mirrored bands! I complemented the mosaic pattern with frizzy waves, which form a bright contrast to the diamonds.

I just don’t sell instructions because developing them is very time-consuming. I offer you 8 material variants that you can knit from, you choose the color yourself. The sample photos of the materials show different patterns, but knitted using the same technique: this way you can judge the wool effect.

How do you get your package? Take a look at the material you want here in the shop and email me what I should pack. Depending on the material, the scarf weighs and costs differently – from recycelt jeans up to yak, silk and kashmir. The scarf also has different widths depending on material and the needle size. You can find the exact information on how much wool you need when making your selection, of course I have to have this amount in stock. For these scarves I recommend a strong contrast of wool colors. When using gradient yarn, the pattern could fade into the background. You order the package here and put it in your shopping cart.

What else do you need?

Circular knitting needles in a size that matches your material: 60 cm long is enough because you are knitting the scarf from the narrow side. If you want to knit a border around the entire scarf, you will also need a long circular needle (100-120 cm) of the same needle size.

Leftover thread smooth (e.g. cotton), possibly. Stitch marker, 1 crochet hook if, like me, you want to crochet the stitches for the provisional cast on.

Knitting using the slip stitch technique is fun:

a two-colored result, but when knitting you only have one working thread in your hand. In the dark double rows/rounds the light stitches appear by lifting the stitches from the previous double row and vice versa in the light rows/rounds the dark stitches appear. Between slips there are only knit and purl stitches. Their arrangement creates a play of light and dark.
