Die Mütze ist die von mir empfohlene „Einsteigervariante“, wenn Du das Muster „Gabis Echo“ oder „Wilfrieds Echo“ als Schal stricken möchtest!
Warum?
In Runden gestrickt siehst Du die ganze Zeit das Muster, Du siehst, wann Du links strickst, Du siehst, dass der Licht- und Schatteneffekt des Musters entsteht. Beim Stricken des Schals siehst Du das nicht, da diese Maschen beim Stricken der Rückseitenreihen entstehen. Außerdem hast Du hier keine zweifarbigen Zu- und Abnahmen und sonstige Sondertechniken.
Das Halbpatentmuster der Rippen am Anfang ist nicht schwer und sehr effektvoll durch tiefgestochene Maschen. Auch hier hast Du trotz der zweifarbigkeit des Musters immer nur einen Faden pro Runde auf der Hand. Hier strickst Du eine Runde hell, eine Runde dunkel. Das „Echo“ Muster strickst Du in Doppelrunden wechselweise hell und dunkel.
Wichtig ist, dass Du den Faden beim Stricken von Kraus und Glatt Rechts straff hältst, während Du ihn ganz loose führst, wenn Du Maschen abhebst. Jede Masche benötigt ihren Raum, dass schöne vertikale Streifen entstehen.
Material:
10 cm x 10 cm = ca 19 cm x 35 R bei einer Maschenprobe gestrickt in 2R Glatt Rechts/ 2R Kraus, gewaschen und gespannt. Eine Mütze wird allerdings in Runden gestrickt, also würde ich sie auf jeden Fall anprobieren (lassen) nach dem Bündchen, dass sie passt! zu weit- dünnere Nadeln, zu eng – dickere Nadeln.
Strickst Du den Schal „Gabis Echo“, reichen die Wollreste bei Verwendung der Originalwollen von malabrigo: „Worsted“ (Rosalinda), „Silky Merino“ (Natur) und „Mohair“ (Natur) aus.
Du benötigst beim Stricken mit Nadelstärke 4.5 gestrickt ca 80m helle Wolle und 85 m dunkle Wolle.
Das heißt für „Wilfrieds Echo“ aus Pascuali Wolle brauchst Du „Camel DK“ einen Knäuel (Natur) und „Alpaca Fino“ (Schieferblau) einen Knäuel.
Ist Deine Farbe bei „Mohair“ nicht dabei, kannst Du wahlweise folgende Flauschgarne verwenden:
„Aurora“ von Rosários4, „Kid Mohair Silk“ von Ferner, oder „Manada“ von Pascuali.
Möchtest Du eine günstigere Variante der Mütze, stricke sie aus „Bio Wool“ von Rosários4.
Werkzeug:
Ich stricke Mützen gerne auf einer kurzen Rundnadel Länge 40 cm mit Wechselspitzen, dann kann ich links eine dünnere Spitze nutzen als die Originalstärke und die Maschen rutschen von alleine nach obgleich ich fest stricke. Est bei ca. Runde 70 wechsle ich auf ein Nadelspiel. Da kannst Du gerne 0.5 dünnere Nadeln nehmen, die Mütze wird eh lang genug!
Im Programm habe ich Seile und Bambus-Spitzen der Firma tulip (mit Drehgelenk), dann habe ich 40er „normale“ Rundnadeln mit Drehspitzen und Nadelspiele mit 3 Nadeln und kurzem Seil aus der CrazyTrio Serie von addi, oder auch die „gewöhnlichen“ Nadelspiele mit 5 Nadeln aus Bambus.
Was noch?
ein Maschenmarkierer für den Anfang der Runde. Dieser versetzt sich pro Doppelrunde, dass der Rundenanfang nicht zu sehen ist.
Kaufst Du die Anleitung von Schal und Mütze „Wilfrieds Echo“ oder „Gabis Echo“, kosten sie zusammen nur 15 €. Kaufst Du Wolle für über 100 €, dann sind die Anleitungen kostenfrei. Das verrechne ich Dir, die erste Rechnung ist computergeneriert, da ist das noch nicht berücksichtigt! Sobald das Geld auf meinem Konto ist, sende ich Dir die PDF Anleitung zu!

The hat is the “beginner version” I recommend if you want to knit the “Gabis Echo” or “Wilfrieds Echo” pattern as a scarf!
Why? Knitting in the round you see the pattern all the time, you see when you purl, you see the light and shadow effect of the pattern being created. You won’t see this when knitting the scarf because these stitches are created when knitting the back rows. In addition, you don’t have two-color increases and decreases or other special techniques here.
The semi-patent pattern of the ribs at the beginning is not difficult and very effective thanks to the „deep stitches“. Here too, despite the two-colored pattern, you only have one thread on hand per round. Here you knit one round light, one round dark. You knit the “Echo” pattern in double rounds, alternating light and dark. It is important that you keep the thread taut when knitting garter stitch and stockinette stitch, while keeping it loose when you slip stitches. Each stitch needs its own space to create beautiful vertical stripes.
Material:
10 cm x 10 cm = approx. 19 cm x 35 rows with a sample knitted in 2 rows stockinette stitch / 2 rows garter stitch, washed and stretched. However, a hat is knitted in the round, so I would definitely try it on (have it tried on) to make sure it fits! too wide – thinner needles, too narrow – thicker needles.
If you knit the scarf „Gabis Echo“, the leftover wool is sufficient if you use the original wool from malabrigo: „Worsted“ (Rosalinda), „Silky Merino“ (natural) and „Mohair“ (natural).
When knitting with needle size 4.5, you will need about 80 m of light wool and 85 m of dark wool.
That means for „Wilfrieds Echo“ made from Pascuali wool you need one ball of „Camel DK“ (natural) and one ball of „Alpaca Fino“ (slate blue).If your color is not listed under “Mohair”, you can either use the following fleece yarns:“Aurora“ by Rosários4, „Kid Mohair Silk“ by Ferner, or „Manada“ by Pascuali. If you want a cheaper version of the hat, knit it from “Bio Wool” from Rosários4.
Tools:
I like to knit hats on a short circular needle, length 40 cm, with alternating tips. Then I can use a thinner tip on the left than the original thickness and the stitches slip up on their own, even though I knit tightly. At around round 70 I switch to double pointed needles. You can use needles that are 0.5 thinner, the hat will be long enough anyway! In the program I have ropes and bamboo tips from the company tulip (with swivel joint), then I have 40 cm „normal“ circular needles with swivel tips and needle sets with 3 needles and short rope from the CrazyTrio series from addi, or the „ordinary“ needle sets 5 bamboo needles.
What else?
a stitch marker for the beginning of the round. This moves every double round so that the start of the round cannot be seen.
